The story of Kanola Biofuels BV began in 2009, when two entrepreneurial brothers, Ömer Çetin and Barış Çetin, founded Kanola Vethandel. At that time, the company specialized in the trade of biodiesel feedstocks, developing expertise in the processing, storage, and logistics of sustainable oils and fats.
Over the years, Kanola built valuable experience working with diverse renewable feedstocks: from technical vegetable oils to used cooking oil and fatty acids. This versatility, combined with thousands of tons in trading volume, laid the foundation for a solid and future-oriented business.
In 2025, this expertise and long-term vision came together with the establishment of Kanola Biofuels BV. Today, the company stands as a dedicated biodiesel producer, merging innovation and sustainability to deliver reliable, high-quality renewable energy solutions.
